A teacher’s role is complex. Teaching can be grouped into three major skill sets. To lead a class of students, a leader must have sufficient skills to:

     TEACH

Consistently deliver instruction in a manner that engages students,
     EDUCATE
Make meaningful connections for students that vividly relate new to old content, concepts, and ideas, and
     COACH
Provide a proven framework for students to learn how to learn (H2L™) so as to become life-longlearners.

Creativity
What do creative people do to come up with the “innovative” idea? How did they refine their idea and develop it into something that is real, yet something a step beyond what was available before? Let’s share a basic assumption.

xbox
   Creativity consists in three facets:

     1. First, there is a foundation; any new idea must build upon other existing idea(s).
     2. Second, there is a thought process used to refine the idea and continue developing it into a reality.
     3. Third, the new idea is realized and made manifest in some form or manner.

Now we can begin looking at ways to improve our creativity, especially in the second area, the process and development ofAbstractions the idea. How we “create” will be the focus. We will show how to expand your intelligent creativity through the thought process used to refine and develop an idea into a reality.

*For us, “An idea is simply placing something into a context for a purpose.” Notice we have underlined three key words: something, context, and purpose. These facets are the basis of intelligen ce, a creative activity!* Thinkstorm
